Following his anticipated departure from the GCW tour at NC-17, Caldera Enterprises Owner Steven Caldera is excited to be taking the company in new directions.
After quietly opening new CEi offices in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Tokyo last year, Caldera seems to have positioned himself to rapidly expand the company's reach. While professional wrestling has long been Caldera's primary focus, the founder of CEi has also had a well documented desire to increase the size of his company and venture out into new territory.
While CEi has always maintained small music, television and film branches, Caldera is hoping to develop the company into a full-blown media powerhouse. Caldera's deep love of film has most speculating that he is hoping CEi will soon join Sony, Warner Bros. and Universal as a major movie studio in Los Angeles.
Music and film production and management will also see a large increase in focus.
It seems these plans have been in development for over a year, but the recent worldwide economic recession slowed progress considerably. With the markets now on the climb, CEi has returned to its characteristically aggressive approach to expansion.
Caldera himself is currently on his way to Beijing, where he will be in talks with Chinese investors about the possibility of opening a Chinese branch of the company.
Today, the latest version of GCWOnline.net went live to the public.
GCW President Steven Caldera had this to say:
"We're very excited about the level of interactivity this latest design gives to our fans, allowing them to access more information than ever before. Our goal is to highlight the great work of our wrestlers while making the work of GCW's great history available to the fans of the current generation. We hope everyone will take the time to delve into GCW's great legacy, because it's never been easier to find."
GCW officials have declared that this will be the final version of GCWOnline.net to be developed, but that is not the first time such a sentiment has been expressed.
